Project Description:

DBS is one of the leading bank in Singapore and the largest bank in Hang Kong.

It has branches in various countries like India, Indonesia, Malasia etc… and provides

different financial services. We are working from offshore to move data from various source systems like Finacle, IMEX, MUREX etc… to the BDW and some times we need to re-extract the data from BDW to Data Marts like CPMS (Cost Production Management System), RMG (Risk Management Group) and to the Applications like MAS (Monitory Authority Of Singapore).We have different phases for loading data in to BDW which is in Teradata. Mainly we are running jobs under these phases 1.Extraction 2.Loading 3.Bkey 4.Transformation 5.CCA (Now we are calling this as BCA).Extraction, Loading, Bkey and CCA done via Teradata utilities and scripts, and transformation done via workflows of Informatica.

                           

Responsibilities:

Project Description:

                               ICICI Prudential is India’s largest private sector insurance organization. ICICI prudential Data Warehouse acquires data from the various data sources of the company and insert or update data into Data warehouse and intergrated from one source system to another. The company has heterogeneous data store and operational systems supporting its operational infrastructure. The data is being loading from various source systems like Life Asia (LA), Gold Mine (GM), Agency Management System (AMS), Training Management System (TMS), SAP, Portal, Pay+, WEGA etc and vise versa. Data is extracted from these sources, transformed and fed into the data warehouse , other source system and is used to generate valuable and intelligent reports. SSIS, Informatica PowerMart6.2 reinforced by the ability of other tools, do data extraction, transformation and loading in to the Oracle Data warehouse. ICICI prudential data warehouse data model is based on NCR’s Financial Services Logical Data Model (FSLDM) which based on third normal form. This project mainly deals with extraction, transformation and loading data from one source system to another source system in the ICICI Prudential. This transformation is either on demand or scheduled.

·         Responsible for getting, understanding the business specs, preparing technical

     Specs, SSIS Packages (by using appropriate database

     Connections: IP, User Id, Pwd, tns entry, dsn).

Distribution Channel - Sales Performance Management System for tracking the performance and competency data of the various sourcing roles in sales. There are two types of users who can access this system. Mainly Employees (all  0^th  level managers) and Managers (1^st,2^nd ,3^rd and higher level managers ) can access this system for tracking and viewing their performances. If an Employee access this system  through SSBS then he can see his corresponding links which gives more details  like Demographic Details Section(My Personal Details),My Performance Section(Performance Card, Performance Archive, My Reviews, Review Schedule) and My Competency Section(Competency Card  for all Roles, My Competency Card, Career Programs). If a Manager access this system    through SSBS then he can see and track his subordinates and direct reported employees  details through the links   like Demographic Details Section(My Personal Details),My Team’s Performance Section(Team Performance Card, Team Performance Archive) and My Competency Section(Competency Card  for all Roles, Team Competency Cards, Career Programs).
